FOTD, OOTD & NOTD

Hello my pretties!
It's a triple whammy post today as I haven't been blogging for ages and I need to make up for it :)
It's coming into my favourite season now - Autumn/Winter. I love dressing myself at this time of the year - I love gloves, scarves, coats, tights and shorts, chunky knits - the whole shabam ;)
Today I went for the 'autumn boyfriend' look as I just wanted to be comfortable and I rather like this style. I think I may be wearing it a lot more often. Hope you likeee.

I am wearing:

Paris t-shirt: New Look
Shirt: Gap mens
Shorts: New Look
Leggins: M&S
Belt: Portabello Market
Hoops: New Look

On me face:

Collection 2000 16-hour wear foundation in '2 ivory' and concealer in '3 medium'
Models own blush in warm glow
Benefits eyeshadows in contour, accent and liner
Creaseless cream shadow in R.S.V.P by Benefit
Max Factor false lash effect mascara
No7 beautiful brow pencil in brown/black
MAC viva glam Gaga lipstick

On me nails:

Barry M nail paint in 'mushroom'
Ring: Topshop

I am really loving this nail colour, which I bought just yesterday, and I think it will be a staple during the next few months.

What your favourite item to wear in this season?

My lovely Barry M nail paint collection

How are you beautiful people today?

So, this post is all about the lovely things that are Barry M nail paints - I lurve them and so I thought I would show the ones I have. They are mostly pastel-y and pink colours - but what can I say, I am a true girlie girl!

The first two pictures are my favourites of my seven colours, I plan to expand my small collection with more adventurous colours soon :)

Nail paint in '119' - a lovely pale pink with barbie pink undertones when built up.
This is so pretty and is very wearable. A definite top choice pour moi :)

Nail paint in '308 berry ice-cream' - I have all of the ice-cream range (apart from the mint colour) and this cute, lilac colour is my favourite of that range :D

The rest of my collection. I do normally apply a base coat before using this product, that way it lasts much longer without chipping.

Nail paint in '307 lemon ice-cream' - I love wearing this with toned down grey and beige clothes to make my nails really pop out in colder weather. I will be wearing this lots for A/W.
Nail paint in '306 berry ice-cream' - Well, I can't say I've ever seen ice-cream this colour! I love blue nail polish and this bright, sea blue was great for the summer months.
Nail paint in 'limited edition' - I bought this solely because it had a gold lid but I actually love the colour, a cool fuchsia style purple - funky :).
Nail paint in '279 bright pink' - This was the first Barry M polish I ever bought and I still really enjoy wearing it. People often rave about 'flamingo pink', a similar colour to this but with more coral like tones, but I think this one is just as lovely.
Nail paint in '272 shocking pink' - I have to say, this may just be my least favourite colour in this collection, however if you like dark but eye popping pinks then this is for you. Maybe I'm just not brave enough. (P.S. sorry the writing is in red for this one, I couldn't find an appropriate pink )

I hope you enjoyed this post and please comment and follow.

Any colours from Barry M to recommend?

review: False Nails ♥

hey everybody :)
So, the other day I went shopping for a bit with a lovely friend and picked up some fake nails because I was feeling very depressed about my short, bitten ones.
But now I am definitely NOT depressed because I am wearing these lurvelies! YAY ♥

They are from Superdrug and are 'Perfect Girl - perfectly french - natural length' false nails, and it says 'NEW' at the top :) which makes them even more special. They were about £3 - £3.50 - can't quite remember.

I have tried various types of falsies and these are probs my faves :)
When you buy them the white tips are slightly square so I rounded mine off a bit with a nail file and them buffed them :)

So, moment of truth - here they are...

The packaging doesn't actually look like this anymore, but is similar, just to give you an idea if you're looking for them :D

I have applied a light layer of Rimmel nail care strengthening coat to make them look extra shiny :)

Yeah, so I really would recommend these - easy to apply and great if you're someone who bites their nails and needs a boost of fingernail related self-confidence, hehe.

Don't forget to follow!
