Walking in a winter wonderland...

Okay, so maybe this is a little premature :P
But today, at school, I was so so cold. England seems to suddenly be freezing! And I have to say, although I keep complaining, I am secretly quite pleased - because it means I can get out my fave item...the winter coat :)
A few days ago my parents kindly ordered me one online and then yesterday evening my dad came home with lots of bags filled with goodies (he works in fashion) - this meant free clothes.
I was very excited.
Of course :).
So I thought I would show you my new items...let me know what ya think :D

New Look/£40
I saw this coat in the shop and really liked it - and to my genuine surprise my mum said she would get it for me.
It's a blue toned grey and is nice and thick so it's good for those chilly days. I love the buttons and the double brested front. The only thing I'm a teensy bit unsure about is the collar - but what are pashminas for? :)

Cambridge connection review/price n/a
So I have no idea where this is from or how much it costs!
My dad bought this home for my sister, and might I just say my sister is a very skinny ten year old, and when she tried it on...it was too big. Quelle suprise.
But with my beady eye I spotted this happening and grabbed it. And despite it being from a childrens size rack I managed to slip into it and I love it!
It's a very simple navy blue, with a cinched in waist and a handy hood. I think this will be my everyday coat - and it's lurvely and toasty warm. Perfect :)

Brand n/a/price n/a
So, yet again, no idea where this is from or how much it is as it doesn't even have a label in it - I think it was just made at my dads work and they hadn't got round to that bit yet :L
I really like this. It's quite short, almost cropped infact and has strong shoulder pad thingys (:/!!). It has really cute buttons and just feels good when it's on. It's not that warm but will be great for those warmer days with fingerless gloves and a cute scarf. Lurveee :).

So there's the end of my likkle coat haul.

With the coats I am wearing -
Jeans/Gap
Pink vest (underneath)/Topshop
White studded t-shirt/Zara

Thanks for reading!

I would love to hear some ideas for accessorising these coats, and just your thoughts... :)

Just a little prettiful post for today based around my favourite colour at the moment, coral :) and pearls which I think are just so dainty and gorgeous.
I am also really enjoying photography at the moment. My camera isn't very good though so often my pictures are blurry, *sniff, but I'm hoping that I can get a proper camera soon for all my beauty musings.

Rimmel I ♥ lasting finish fruity nail polish - for the little girl within us all :)

currently lusting after...

Hey dolls :)
As you probably know I am always always lusting after beauty products but here are some of the things that I am especially keen to get my manicured hands on :) teehe.

Box O' Powder in Georgia/Benefit/£23.50
I already have Coralista from this range of powders and it's amazing, so why shouldn't this one be the same?
The colour is so pretty and peachy and the packaging is just darling ;) YES PLEASE.

Models Own nail paints in Lilac Dream, Purple Grey & Peach Sherbet/Boots/£5
Everytime I go into Boots I go and look at the models own nail polishes. Ahh. They're just so pretty and pastel-y and just divine.
Ahem, anyway.
So after looking at the colours on their website, and there are over 80 so this took me quite a while, I decided these three where the ones I liked the best. I liked them all, in fact. And that's not a joke. I liked them all. And I'm no maths whizz but I know that 80 x £5 = far too much money for me to spend :P.
These three are all matte, I do prefer a matte polish to shimmery one, and these were the ones that were the most written about on the internet.
Models Own also claim that Purple Grey is an exact dupe for Paradoxal by Chanel - suddenly the £5 price tag isn't seeming so bad.. ;)
The Lilac Dream is a nice twist on the ol' fave that is Barry Ms berry ice-cream, with slightly more fuchsia tones in it. And the Peach Sherbet is just gorge - a beautiful orange toned salmon colour ♥
Woah, I've written a lot about them...

Beauty Encylopedia in Sparkle Eyes/eyeslipsface.com/£6
I'm loving the look of this "trendy Little Black Book of Beauty".
It contains 12 pressed powder eyeshadows, 2 cream eyeshadows, an eyeliner in 'coffee' and an eyeshadow brush.
All this for £6!
Need I say more...

Khol pencils in Dragonfly & Petrol/Topshop/£5
I am a big fan of Topshop makeup - at first I was unsure, as I am with all stores that mainly just sell clothes and then bring out a makeup line (cough*Primark*cough) but you can really tell that they have put a lot of thought into this range and the packaging, especially, is a real winner pour moi :).
I love the look of these khol pencils and whenever I've swatched them in store they've seemed really creamy and pigmented.
Dragonfly is a really pretty green toned soft grey and Petrol is much more blue-y and dramatic. Both are gorgeous and would be perfect for creating coloured smoky eye looks for A/W.

So, that's the end of my little post!

Hope you liked it :)
Has anyone tried any of these products and what did you think?

I love getting your comments...

Yes please ;)

Hello sweetys!
As I have said, many times before, I love Autumn/Winter.
So much.
So, here is a quick run down of the five things which I think are essential to survive the trend :)

I hope you enjoy!

Fingerless studded leather gloves/New Look/£8
I have always had a bit of a thing for fingerless gloves, but instead of the usual woolen ones I think I'll go for some leather.
These are so cute and the colour is gorgeous. Also lovin' the studs - I think these are just a bit different. And only £8 a pop :)

Skinny leather plaited belts/New Look/£5
Anyone who knows me will know that every, and I mean every, outfit I put on has to be, if it's possible (and quite often when it's not possible) 'cinched in at the waist'. Yes, I love belting things. So for autumn/winter a good belt is essential. I'm loving skinny ones at the moment over big baggy shirts and tops (see last post) and the plait pattern gives them a bit of extra 'kerching' ;D

Buckled Clog Boots/Topshop/£150
I LOVE THESE BOOTS SO MUCH. The dark brown is so so gorgeous and the heel is just amazing, I would love to strut down the street in these (without falling over, of course ;).) They are, admittedly, a little out of my price range.
But surely, daddy, these are an essential item?! ;)

Hinge front bag/Topshop/£45
I think a simple, classic black bag is an essential for this season. I adore the slouchiness of this bag and well, just lurve it :D

MAC lipsticks in Myth and Impassioned/£12.50 each
I love a nude lip therefore I need Myth - such a gorgeous creamy pinkish nude which will be perfect teemed with neutrals and warm beiges.
I think winter is the time to go a little daring and Impassioned is perfect for this, a gorgeous bright pink that will look fab with dark greys and navy.

So that's the end of my little post for today :)

What things are you lusting after for this new season?

products I am luvin' right now

Hey hey :)
So, I've got a bit out of it with the whole blogging thing lately so I thought I would do this quick post of beauty related items that I have enjoyed being the owner of over the last couple of weeks.

The first is a blush from Sleek. I hadn't had anything from this brand before and had heard many many ravilicious things about it so I thought I would get something and thought a blush would be a good idea.
Turns out the actual blush I bought was not the tester I used in the shop. I was expecting a very light peachy pink I got a bright fuchsia. I was not happy.
But then I actually used it and realised I lurvee it! So all's well that ends well.
Got this for £3.99 in Superdrug.
And there's moi peeping into the photo :) teehe.

The second favourite is MAC's Viva Glam Gaga lipstick which was £12.50, as everyone knows.
I was in love with this, then I hated it but now I love it again. The colour is amaaazing and it's so creamy and lasts a long time :)
I wore it everyday on holiday, partly because I forgot other lipsticks :(, but also because I lurvee it hehe. So yeah, BUY IT.

The next thing is a skincare product and it's The Body Shop Hemp Hand Protector. I was in the shop with a friend and the shop assistant came and gave us each a £3 off voucher and a free Shea Butter sample :). And being the bargain seeker I am, I tried to look for a product closest to £3 so that I had to pay barely anything.
And that's what I did :) This was five pounds, but I got it for only two :D.
It smells kinda wierd, but nice wierd. And is really moisturising and brill for dry skin.
LOVE.

So, there's my little post :)
I should be getting back into the swing of blogging soon but hopefully this will keep it ticking over for now :)

My lovely Barry M nail paint collection

How are you beautiful people today?

So, this post is all about the lovely things that are Barry M nail paints - I lurve them and so I thought I would show the ones I have. They are mostly pastel-y and pink colours - but what can I say, I am a true girlie girl!

The first two pictures are my favourites of my seven colours, I plan to expand my small collection with more adventurous colours soon :)

Nail paint in '119' - a lovely pale pink with barbie pink undertones when built up.
This is so pretty and is very wearable. A definite top choice pour moi :)

Nail paint in '308 berry ice-cream' - I have all of the ice-cream range (apart from the mint colour) and this cute, lilac colour is my favourite of that range :D

The rest of my collection. I do normally apply a base coat before using this product, that way it lasts much longer without chipping.

Nail paint in '307 lemon ice-cream' - I love wearing this with toned down grey and beige clothes to make my nails really pop out in colder weather. I will be wearing this lots for A/W.
Nail paint in '306 berry ice-cream' - Well, I can't say I've ever seen ice-cream this colour! I love blue nail polish and this bright, sea blue was great for the summer months.
Nail paint in 'limited edition' - I bought this solely because it had a gold lid but I actually love the colour, a cool fuchsia style purple - funky :).
Nail paint in '279 bright pink' - This was the first Barry M polish I ever bought and I still really enjoy wearing it. People often rave about 'flamingo pink', a similar colour to this but with more coral like tones, but I think this one is just as lovely.
Nail paint in '272 shocking pink' - I have to say, this may just be my least favourite colour in this collection, however if you like dark but eye popping pinks then this is for you. Maybe I'm just not brave enough. (P.S. sorry the writing is in red for this one, I couldn't find an appropriate pink )

I hope you enjoyed this post and please comment and follow.

Any colours from Barry M to recommend?

My Holiday :)

Hola mis amigas!
I just got back from Mallorca a few hours ago and I thought I'd do a quick post on my holiday :)
I had a really nice time and I would really recommend staying in the Pollensa/Puerta de Pollensa area as its really lovely. :)
So here are a few pictures of my time there and I also thought I'd do a holiday haul, because I got a couple of things :)

This is where I stayed, this picture was actually taken on the day that it wasn't very sunny, hence why it looks a bit gross. But it got much sunnier throughout the week :) the house was all the way up the mountains so it was so idyllic and just lurrvely!

Me and my little sister. I'm wearing: Maxi dress from Topshop - £45 i think. Vest from H&M - £2.99. Bag from New Look - £10. (Not sure what my hair was doing that evening)

Us again :) I'm wearing skirt from H&M - £3.99. Top from New Look - £15 i think.

And again :) my sister is too cute..

♥ ♥ ♥

Haul

I picked up these two bracelets in Pollensa Sunday market - they had some really gorgeous stuff but these things especially caught my eye for something beachy :) Me, my mum and my sister all got the blue type one and decided they would be 'family~friendship~girlpower' bracelets, teehee.
The blue rope one was 2 euros and 50 cents. And the silver one was 5 euros.

I saw these earrings and thought, since they were only 2 euros, that I would get them for our last meal of the holiday.
They're huge, so i 'em ;)

I only picked up one makeup item whilst on my travels and that was the Benefit Primpcess travel kit - I picked it up on the flight home and was £20 which is a saving of £8.50 for the highstreet price.
It includes Bad Gal Lash mascara, Eyeshadows in Accent Shadow, Contour Shadow and Liner Shadow, Creaseless cream shadow/liner in R.S.V.P, BOI~ING concealer in 02 and Eye Bright. I can't wait to try all these things, espesh the creaseless cream shadow/liner - I have been lusting after one of those for a loooong time :)

So there's the end of my likkle holiday post, it wasn't much but hopefully you liked it.
I feel like a week is such a long time in the blogosphere but I will try and get back into the swing of everything soonio :)
